New! Tilda's 'Chic Escape' and it's blender, 'Daisyfields' is here!

We just adore this brand new release, 'Chic Escape' by Tilda!  If you love watching the epic TV series 'Escape To The Chateau', you will love these designs that are remiscent of an era gone by with its opulent wallpapers, soft furnishings, tapestries and upholsteries.  Whilst having an antique theme, these beautiful fabrics can be easily incorporated into just about any style of decor.  I saw a post by Tilda Australia on their Instagram page where someone reupholstered an old chair with the fabrics and it looked amazing!  

The 100% excellent quality cotton is suitable for quilting, apparel, soft furnishings and craft.  The fabrics come in several colourways and are complemented by a blender range, 'Daisyfield'.

The designer of the collection, Tone Finnanger, offers the following to describe her exquisite collection. 

'Our escape during lockdown, a rather chic escape I might add, was following all the charming people that have left their old lives behind to restore derelict French chateaus, on YouTube.
Starting their days knee deep in mud because of a leak and ending it with a cocktail party. Spending an uncommon amount of time in their dressing gowns often paired with wellies (I suppose their dressingrooms are just too far away) and flanked by a peacock while tackling obstacles like a bathtub falling through the floor. Trips to local flea markets (brocants), always on the lookout for vintage pottery, fabric and furniture to bring these vast buildings to life.

Chic Escape is inspired by brave people saving and bringing life and laughter back to old forgotten homes, and all our shared interests in vintage fabric, pottery and flowers.
